Did not finish, 71% through direct quote: "Nine times out of ten, if a girl gets raped, it's at least partly her own fault."
I'm not interested in continuing a book that has a female protagonist who thinks this shit. The book has largely been boring af and more of a "I should finish it for the sci fi cred" rather than actually just enjoying it.

I thought the story and premise and even its commentary to be entertaining, but I had a hard time getting past the depictions and the way in which he wrote the women. I think it goes past the "product of its time" excuse.
