This is a book that is different from any other book. I have to say that I found it disturbing at times, and at other times it was just odd. Hunger is the story of a Norwegian Knut Hamsen who is starving, wandering the streets, looking for something to put into his stomach. But when he cannot, he becomes lost in this world and falls into another world. In reading it, sometimes I felt as though it made sense and then other times, I felt that it was so deep, that I had difficulty understanding it. ...more
