We studied part of this for my British Literature I class, but not the entire thing. We read it in Middle English, but I also referenced the translation by Nevill Coghill and found it invaluable in comprehending the text. As for the stories themselves, I liked some more than others. Overall, I'm not a huge Chaucer fan, although I appreciate being familiar with his works. I think I grew to appreciate him more as I progressed in the reading.
