This was a very interesting war novel and different from others I have read. I enjoyed the epic journey the soldiers took in their search for Cacciato but it was disappointing to find out that the journey was all make believe and not real at all. It would have been interesting to have had them really make it to Paris from Vietnam and as the main character kept saying, "it could've happened." ...more
