Rereading this book 10 years after my first read. It took longer than the first reading. Strangely I was interested in the storyline before but now I understood why it is regarded as one of the best Psychological works in fiction. The punishment that Rashkolnikov goes through after the crime is committed is something many of us feel after doing anything outside of human nature.
