Wasn’t as enamored as the first reading, but still entertaining.
1.5 stars. 2 separate plots that didn't seem to have a common theme. Very boring! Usually anything containing history I enjoy. It could have been the English dialogue that I could not get into.

I read this almost three months ago and am just now getting around to reviewing it. It was a bit hard for me to get into at first but is well worth sticking with for the long ride. I am glad I finally read this, as it is ultimately a very rewarding and thought-provoking story--not to mention beautifully written.
