OMG, I loved this audiobook! It took from May - October to listen to, but it was so worth it. The narrator was wonderful. Had a great book club discussion about it as well. My husband is still reading it - in Spanish! Great story and while reading it I was able to see the play Man of La Mancha and listen to the soundtrack often in my car, ha ha.

Oh this is a funny book! A funny, and very long and tedious at times books. Because it’s so long there really is a lot of “something good in it.” :-)
The best parts were the characters that described perfectly the crazy people in my own life and the arguably crazier people around them supporting them in their ridiculous decisions!

I completely understand how this is a classic, however I personnally wasn't into it at all. I got bored pretty fast ; in the first part I was merely interested by the side stories. It just isn't my kind of humor, I actually found it pretty sad... and the second part, when people "used" Don Quichotte for amusement, was not any better. So nope, not for me...
