Whatever else Don Quixote may be, I never found it boring. Parts of it were very funny, others had wonderful similarities with Shakespeare, some bits were more serious: it's like a mini library in a single volume. Wonderful.

This is a tricky one to review. I’ll start out by mentioning that I listened to this as an audiobook and the narration was very well done. I don’t know that I would have managed to finish this book as quickly if I had have been reading it - the narrator brings this whole other element of interest and life to it and his character voices bring the people in the story to life.
