I have read this book many times.Recently after so many years of experience as management executive, I read it once again. I found that book is highly instructive for students and teachers of management.The literature must find place in management curriculum. I don't remember a single thing about the story, except that he was an old man and he was in the sea. All I remember was how much I liked the writing itself. It was so easy to read. I plan on reading this book again, to see if there was anything to the story itself besides the lulling feeling of reading those sentences.

Props to Hemingway for the symbolism and message behind this fable/story, but I found The Old Man and the Sea really hard to get through. I just couldn't connect with the style of writing...
