This book was amazing.

An epidemic of blindness has thrown society into chaos. Without ever mentioning a single character’s name, Jose Saramago plunges the reader into this novel of immense depth and leaves them stunned by the end.

Wow...this book will stay with me for quite some time. Blindness is about a white blindness epidemic that descends upon an unnamed city in an unnamed country. It is an interesting exploration in the breakdown of society.

This book has such beauty amongst all of the ugliness and horror the blind come across. A wonderful story...be patient, take your time but you must read this book.
