I thought this book was very good. I've read many many "survival" books, but luckily this one was unique enough to warrant continuing it. I thought it was well written, and the character of Pi is very well developed, and interesting. I also learned a lot, which happens quite a bit when I read these types of books. One criticism that I did have though, was that I did not feel that the language was descriptive enough. I had a really hard time picturing a lot of the scenes, even though at times the
