What Members Thought
This was a very well-written, engaging book. I read it 12 years ago, and remember it well. That said, it's a very disturbing book about a doctor "playing God" and performing abortions, as well as destroying the original identities of the children who were adopted.

First this book is GREAT writing, and second the ending differs from the film -- which I like.
There is so much information, and characters in every chapter that I could only read one chapter a day (which is not my norm.)
I recommend that everyone should read this book. It should be part of the high school literature curriculum.
