Forgot how good Gibson is. And this book is white-knuckled cool. From the opening line, "The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel." To the closing line [not given since it includes a sort of spoiler].
Great pacing. And excellent plot the traces Case, a burnt out hacker with brain damage that makes it impossible to ply his trade, from the drug-infested streets of a future Japan to a four-star hotel in the United States -- AKA the Sprawl.
