So, A Clockwork Orange, took place in a very near future where society had degenerated to chaos and the world was ruled by dictator. The people preferring violence, brutality and cruelty over other more reasonable approaches.

Our hero (read: anti-hero), Alex, was an example of such society upstanding citizen. He was egotistical, brutal, violent and all around bad guy. (view spoiler) ...more
