This is one of those books where the end might ruin the entire book for you. It was really enjoyable and very easy to follow for a book written in 1912 (where it was first published in a pulp fiction magazine). It is no wonder that this story spawned dozens of movies and tv shows and even a cartoon parody (George of the Jungle), and my personal favorite the Disney movie Tarzan—which, by the way, is absolutely nothing like the book whatsoever (no real big surprise there).
