The other two books I am reading seem a little bit more interesting than this book.
I've kind of been not reading this as much because it not really that interesting. It alright (in my opinion) but not that great. Although I am also a high-school student, I was not FORCED to read this book, I came to it out of free will. Since I am from Hong Kong, The Scarlet Letter is not on my school's required reading list.
I bought this book since I love 19th century literature and forbidden love stories, I read the blurb on goodreads and felt really interested, unchecked passion, star-crossed lovers, sin and guilt, sounded like my type of book. Yes, I am a sucker for serious, theatrical, dark romantic tragedies.
