I have to be honest, I would not have finished this if it has not been for a discussion I read through Goodreads. I don't remember all the details but what caught my eye was that at the end the book was worth the read. Well I will admit that it certainly was. At first I hated Emma and the long, long detailed, rambling chapters were driving me crazy. After I read that discussion I buckled down and I'm so glad I did. Finally in the last half of the book I started to enjoy Emma. I think she grew up ...more
