Once you actually understand what the characters are saying to each other the whole story gets way more interesting.
The characters are so detailed and complete I can now completely understand P&P has so many offshoot sequels.
Note: read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies first otherwise you will be reaching for your dictionary frequently.

Great Story. Good Books for me have great characters. This book had all that and so much more. Loved the quirkeness in the writing and the true picture of being there as the bickering and gossip was happening.
Now I know why the book stood the test of time and that many movies were based.
