This book was awesome. I really enjoyed it.
ETA (May 2015): More thorough review coming with my re-read.
ETA (6/5/15): I really don't know what to say right now. I love this gothic romance classic. While Rochester irks me, Jane more than makes up for it. She is no shrinking violet, and in my opinion, this is a feminist book (very pre-feminist). Bronte is very heavy with the doom and gloom and I love her for that.
Also I'll read Charlotte Bronte over Jane Austen any day. Sorry Jane Austen fans, I f ...more

One of the best books I've read so far. The story is lovely and the characters complex. You love, hate, understand and criticize them all the time while reading. Jane makes you think about how listening to your heart and instincts while balancing your reason can work when you make important decisions or try to find your place in the world.
