What Members Thought
This is one of the shortest classic novels I've ever read. Although it is short in length it will remain with me a long time. It is very thought provoking. The story actually take place over a time period of three days, on a ranch in the Salinas Valley found in California. George Milton and Lennie Small are the main characters. Through this novel I felt Steinbeck's sense of pity for the men like George and Lennie, who spend their days toiling in the hot and humid fields taking in someone's else
