What Members Thought

After reading the biography of Harper Lee by Charles Shields, I thought it might be appropriate to read the book that brought her the Pulitzer Prize. Most high school English students have long ago digested the basic message outlined in this classic. A novel of racial and judicial bias, the narrative holds the reader throughout and is a basic addition to any classical library. It is well written and a timeless story that should be read by everyone at one time or another.
