Has there ever been a more perfect book? Will there ever be? All I know is that I've never read a 400+ page book that had me glued to every beautiful sentence. It does require a lot of patience to get through the 400-page novel and I admit it wasn't easy at times, but the whole reading experience is really one of a kind. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is an epic family saga, detailing the tragedies and history of a specific family through generations, and it is one of the best family saga that I have read to this date. No, this is definetly not a pot-boiling good time. I'm not even sure what the heck is going on. Some mythical hooey, war, death, birth, a 20 cent hooker, a dirt eating thumb sucking girl. ????????????

Who are these people? I'm not even sure. All of this shifty narration makes me numb. I'm shocked and bewildered that Oprah read this. I wonder if she understood any of it. Hey, Oprah-call me. I'm confused.
