This is another book in the same vein of 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' and 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night time', where the main protagonist is a teenage who has some sort of learning disability and other things I suppose.

I liked this book. I liked the characters, even turning some of them into people I know (sorry, folks). My only complaint is that the letters-to-an-unknown friend format seemed unnecessary and was distracting; it felt like the literary equivalent of those TV shows featuring camera crews hanging around to make a "documentary." And I felt a little ripped off in the end, as the epilogue revealed big secrets that maybe would have been better developed throughout the story instead of just told to us
