What Members Thought
I FINALLY read this one after having it on my to-read list for a good decade or more. Still loved it and found Charlie very relatable even though I'm not a teen anymore by any means. But those insecurities and anxiety follow you into adulthood, as well. Reading his thoughts, Charlie felt like a true kindred spirit to me. I can see this being a book I'll reread every now and then when I'm looking for some comfort.

I read this for the second time again before watching the movie, and ended up keeping my rating as it was. This book is good, and I grew to love the characters in it, but it's not one that captured and delivered new insights to me, and I felt like I could never truly get past how naive and innocent this 9th grade Charlie was.
