I really loved this book. I made the mistake of watching the movie first but the movie was outstanding so I thought I should read the book too. The book was even better of course. The best thing about this novel is the coming of age story of Amir. I would love to be able to teach this book to my students. I love this book! I have been reading a lot of good books lately but this was just blew me away. It is so intense all the way through and very powerful. It was such a page turner and the writing is magnificent. I didn't want it to end! I can't wait for the movie!
