What Members Thought
I love this book so much. I knew it was a 5 star read for me in the first 100 pages and in the last 100 pages, my eyes pooled with tears. The Flores family of Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i will shine bright in my reader’s heart for a long, long time. A perfect combination of magical-realism, Hawaiian folklore and culture in the best written family saga I’ve enjoyed in a while.
