I actually was worried that I wouldn't like this book since I kept seeing people say that they were not fans everywhere. I decided to wait until the end of June to read this one but I wish I had picked it up sooner. Once Peggy was introduced into the story I couldn't get myself to put it down to do anything else, not even my favorite tv show was going to take me from this book.

This book really surprised me. It details part of the life of a man named Andrew, who has a sad and sometimes gross job, and winds up in a situation in which he pretends to have a family. He does not want to die alone. He does not know how to avoid this either, and as you can imagine, inventing a family causes some complications as he forms relationships with actual people. What starts out as a miscommunication takes a life of it’s own for Andrew and it was a good story that I enjoyed in “How Not To Die Alone”. Maybe because so much of the story deals with death so matter-of-factly the bits celebrating life are more poignant. This book made me think about how valuable relationships are.
