For me this was an average read in beginning and even frustrating with some backstory that felt less interesting. However, the final third blew me away and I walked away loving where it went. I love that that the author makes sympathy for all of the characters nearly inevitable and allows you to ponder the blurry lines of right and wrong, of love and difficult decisions. Others said to be prepared to cry... I made it through the whole book without tears until the last 6 pages or so. It has beaut ...more
