Liane Moriarty has consistently been one of my favorite authors. Her first book that I read, What Alice Forgot, was phenomenal! And then, of course, Big Little Lies and The Husband’s Secret. I just recently finished Three Wishes as well. All of which were captivating and light reads. This one, however, I just couldn’t really get into.

This was my first book by Liane, and I enjoyed it. I think her other books will be more up my alley though. It was a quick read but towards the end it went a little off the rails. The characters were very interesting, and I could see it being a good movie.

This book has a couple of interesting turns, but overall was hard to get through. There was SO much time spent on the character’s backstories that it seemed to drag by at times.
