This isn't the first time I've read this book. In light of the upcoming movie release, I wanted to relive the experience that is a Nicholas Sparks book.
Now, I've never been a sap and for the most part, I don't enjoy sappy love stories. But there is something about the stories he writes that has me bawling like a baby.

I bought this book only because I'm a huge fan of The Notebook movie and I decided to give it a shot. I was surprised how easy-written the book is. I absolutely enjoyed every page of it and would definitely recommend it to someone who loves love-stories and messed up plots.

I just finished this book for the second time on 11/19/13.
I also just finished watching the movie for the second time recently as well (I got to say, it's one of my favorite book to movie adaptations).
I really enjoyed the romance in this book. It didn't seem to love-at-first and I like that (since I don't believe in it).
I couldn't give this 5 stars because of Kevin. He was crazy, which wouldn't have bad a thing since he made the suspense portion, but I didn't like the fact th ...more
