As with most of the novels written by Nicholas Sparks, this was such a beautiful story of love, romance and tragedy.

This story is basically about Adrienne and Paul who meet one weekend. We follow them as we discover more and more of their backstory and following their relationship as they grow closer and closer together.

What I liked the most was that this was not one of those love stories that were based on 20-year old somethings. Adrienne and Paul are in their 40s. They have already lived a li ...more

Shelves: read-more-than-once

I saw the movie before I read the book (because of the few scenes with Christoper Melonlia (; ). Not too long after I saw the movie, I read the book and I got to say the book was WAY better. Don't get me wrong, the movie was really cute and sad but the book; oh my gosh! The ending broke my heart (just the way the movie did) but the details were a lot better in the book, something they changed in the movie which disappointed me. ...more
