Stargirl is a book where all of the scenes happen in the state of Arizona. It shows of Leo Borlock, (the main character) struggled under peer pressure. The book is about Leo chosing between two options. Stargirl, or the school. I thought Stargirl was a relationship story. This book is about a character named Stargirl. She is an unusual girl that brings her ukelele to school, wears long skirts and dresses, and carries a pet rat with her everywhere she goes. This book Stargirl is about a girl named Stargirl who is new to Mica High School. At first, everyone doesn’t really know what to think of her; she was a girl who brought a rat to school, played the ukulele after lunch, and sang happy birthday to people when it was their birthday in front of the whole school. Stargirl is not a normal teenage she brings her rat cinnamon to school. Sings Happy Birthday to anyone. Only wears clothes that her mom makes. But the narrater Leo has feelings for her. The author had great character development. I could picture what Stargirl looked like. In the beginning, he should have detailed Leo better because I couldn’t tell if Leo was a boy or girl and I found out he was a boy about half way through the book. So he needed to explain that better. The plot of the story was very interesting. He didn’t leave cliff hangers but it made me still want to read to find out what Stargirl was going to do next. The characters did seem real. I could imagine something like this happening in real life. The book was kind of a mystery because you were trying to figure out who Stargirl was and where did she come from. So the author did a really great job on this book.

This book was a really really good book. I congratulate the author on this book. The ending of the book I didn’t like so much. The author could have made it more specific and detailed. It didn’t really fit into the story. I thought that Leo and Stargirl would make a nice couple. The author made Leo a very caring person because I think the author was trying to describe Leo as a guy who didn’t care about the way someone looked or how they acted; he wanted to show that Leo was someone who mostly cared about he inside. Even though he wanted Stargirl to change, in the end she still went back to her normal self. I thought though that asking Stargirl to change the ways she looked and acted because he wanted people to talk to him was very rude. But other than that the book was amazing. I give this book 5 stars because of the great work.

This book is about girl who is in high school who is almost always happy and kind. She always sings Happy Birthday to people on their birthday. She always brings her ukulele and pet rat to school. Everyone else in the school thinks she is weird because she wears old clothes.

Stargirl is about a girl named Stargirl who is homeschooled and is different form everybody else. This book takes place in Mica County, Arizona. This book is about a girl that calls herself Stargirl. No one know where she came from or who she is but she is definitely not normal. From the clothes that she wears to her pet rat and ukulele that she brings to school she stands out. I think that this book is a good and bad book. For me this book is very unrealistic. I also fin this book really weird. Leo, the narrator, kept on hearing about this new girl called 'Stargirl'. He heard her name everywhere and then finally he saw her. Everybody talks about Stargirl and how she is different than all the others. Than she becomes popular and everybody knows her, likes her, and she changes the school. Stargirl soon gets on the cheerleading team and cheers for everybody and helps everybody then soon just as fast as she turns popular, she is hated and ignored throughout the school.
