The Marriage Mistake by author Jennifer Probst is book 3 in her incredible Marriage to the Billionare series and it was just amazing and so much fun to read. This story captured my attention right from the beginning with it's lovable characters, witty dialogue, sexual tension and hot sex scenes.

The Marriage Mistake by author Jennifer Probst is book 3 in her incredible Marriage to the Billionare series and it was just amazing and so much fun to read. This story captured my attention right from the beginning with it's lovable characters, witty dialogue, sexual tension and hot sex scenes.

I loved and adored the sexy hero in this story, Max Gray, who doesn't know what has hit him when he encounters Carina Conte, all grown-up now, feisty and too sexy for his peace of mind. I enjoyed watching Max struggle with his non-brotherly-like feelings for Carina and the jealousy that consumes him as she tells him she wants to experience sex without any long-term commitment even if it's not with him. He's overly protective of her and doesn't feel like he's good enough for her but also doesn't want anyone else to have her either. I enjoyed the comaderie and friendship he has with her brother, Michael. He's caught between what he perceives as family betrayal and giving into his desires which creates great conflict in a love story.

Carina is tired of wearing her heart on her sleeves for Max and decides to appear more confident and sexy in her pursuit of independence and some pleasure. She teases Max mercilessly with her wardrobe and her innuendoes and it was so much fun to see a man squirm and finally give in. I liked that Carina is a strong, confident woman now yet still shows her vulnerability. I loved her friendship with Alexa and Maggie and their scenes together were hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing. And let not forget the force to be reckoned with, Mama Contes, who is the wisest woman and such a fun character to see in action.

The author did a brilliant job writing a story filled with love, laughter, family, and friendships with characters readers have come to love. Each book in this series gets even better and I highly recommend The Marriage Mistake to all romance readers. I could not get enough of it and I'm so happy that there will be another book in this wonderful series, which has become one of my favorites.

I have to admit that after reading The Marriage Trap, Carina Conte was my least favorite character. She acted and seemed much younger than her age. The Marriage Mistake takes place 3 years later. Carina is more mature, more confident, and has earned her MBA. She's ready to move to America to work in her brother's company. Working close with her long-time crush could be fun, if only he can get past viewing her like a younger sibling.

Forget about Nick and Michael. In my opinion, Maximus Gray blows them away! Max is Michael Conte's best friend. He grew up very close with the Conte family. For most of his life, Max has had to learn to reconcile his feelings about his father's actions. As a result, he has commitment issues with women. He really does not want to be like his father. When Carina begins working as his assistant, there is no denying the physical attraction he feels for her, but he must keep his distance or risk losing his best friend's trust.

Carina certainly does not make things easy for Max. As a 26-year old virgin, she may come off as a little too eager to give her V-card away, but there is no question that Max is who she wants to give herself to. She's always been in love with Max. When he finally takes her up on her one-night-stand offer, oh boy! Too bad, they are busted and forced to get married! Will these two find happiness with their miserable marriage? Will the love spell strike again? Read and find out!

The Marriage Mistake is my favorite of the series thus far. The story has a strong backbone with family and friendship. There is a little of Nick and Alexa and a nice dose of Maggie and Michael. Probst wove them all well into the story. Let's just say the families keep getting bigger and bigger!

As for Carina and Max, although both go through a lot of learning and growth, these two are so electrifying together! She wants to be a little submissive, and he doesn't mind giving her all that she desires! Oh, yes! He also knows what do with a paintbrush and chocolate body paint. *fans self*

Okay what the heck happened to little Carina Conte? She grew up... and Mama always knows best.

I loved this book... the banter, the quick wit, the way Carina teased Max. Funny how the thought that you might lose the one you love makes you realize that they are the one you have always loved and wanted and still want to be with..

Loved it Jennifer. Really hoping there is a 4th installment.

Jennifer Probst does it again, I was completely hooked from page one! I love this series! The Marriage Mistake waas funny, romantic, sweet and heartwarming! Carina was such a strong character with insecurties to overcome! Max was definetely an alpha male, strong, protective, loyal, hardworking! Jennifer Phobst did not disappoint in the third book of The Billionaire Series!

The Marriage Mistake, this third installment in the series did keep me very entertained. I liked the Peeks into the lives of the other coulples that we have grown to love. Then we enter into the new relationship with Max and Corina. She is quite sassy, and he is very much caught in her web...once he gets past the fact that she is his buisness partner and best friends "little sister"....all that seems to fade away as they get to know each other. There were a few parts that were not so believeable ...more

Jennifer Probst never disappoints with her Billionaire series, this book being no exception! The heat between Carina and Max is so hot, I thought it was going to set my NOOK on fire. I love how Jennifer continues to keep us involved with Maggie & Michael and Nick & Alexis. And gives us just a hint of what and who's to come in her next book. In my opinion, this is the best book yet. Although, I hear the next one may actually make my NOOK spontaneously combust. Can't wait to see what Ms. Probst ha ...more
