Beautifully written. I hope my daughter one day reads it and feels the same curiosity, sadness, and outrage that I felt reading it. Somewhat similar to Okonkwo's desire to have his sons be manly warriors such as himself, I wish for my daughter to be a inquisitive bookworm like myself. ...more
