Re-read this classic after a long time, having read this way back in school. The book rings so true even to this day, even though it was written almost 70 years ago. The surveillance states that we have become and slow but sure delegitimisation of democratic institutions world over, hold eerie resemblance to the start of the dystopian world envisioned by Orwell. A seminal piece of literature, not to be missed.
