Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, #3) in Hunger Games- All Around

I thought that this book was amazing I totally recomend it to anyone that loves to read! I think that it is kinda sad when they find out that Peeta was hijacked by the Capitol and that he only has bad memories of Katniss. He doesn't even remember that he loved her and she thinks that she is never going to get him back but in the end of the book and they have two children after they get married but theres not much detail about that. Then when Katniss has a group with her to go and kill Snow, when I thought that this book was amazing I totally recomend it to anyone that loves to read! Then when Katniss has a group with her to go and kill Snow, when they are getting out from being under ground Finnick dies because of the mutation things that are half reptile half human I think. When he died I cryed so hard it wasn't even funny. The way Prim dies is so sad that she is not even thirteen yet and they send her out to the front line to help the wounded but she gets blown up. All together I think that the author put to much death in the book. If it had a little less death of the really good characters it would be so much better than the way that they died. With families that love them and friends that love them. When Prim dies the mother goes off to District four and doesn't even go home with her other alive daughter to their home in district twelve and doesn't even go and see her to say goodbye instead all she does is write her a note. The mother is so pathetic sometimes and in a way a wimp because when Katniss's father died the mother just layd down on her bed and only go up to use the bathroom and eat. But Gale is mean to because he gets a good job in District 2 and doesn't even go to say goody bye to her either. Now thats just being a jerk to leave on your best friend like that without visiting her before he left. I think that is just BULL it pisses me off really bad about how bad the author does that and how Peeta shows up after weeks almost months because they had just let him out of the Capitol the day before he brings the Primrose plants to Katniss. I think that is really sweet because he wants her to remember Prim. All together I thought that this book was amazing thank you Suzanne Collins for creating this series thank you!!!!

I'll admit, this book made me cry. It's rather hard for a movie or book to make me cry, for reasons that are nothing like the reasons most people have. However, the first book in the series, The Hunger Games, was better, but by a small bump. I was actually quite ticked at how many deaths that should have been really memerable were actually really short. For example, Finnick died rather quickly, being clawed in half or something by the Muttations. He should have at least said good-bye to Annie. A ...more

This was a good book but the worst in the series, I enjoyed it but there were so many boring parts that you could set it down and not come back to it until you wanted to. It had action in it but not as much as the first 2, it mostly took place in district 13. I think that district 13 is WORSE than the Capitol! I just finished the book and I am crying so much right now. I really love Mockingjay. But why the hell did so many people in the book I love have to die?! The ending just broke me and left me craving for more. It's just that life for Katniss will never be the same again. So much had changed from the first book(Hunger Games) to the last one(Mockingjay).
