I really liked this book, although at first I was a tad confused--there was a lot of time spent on the supporting characters. so much so that I forgot who the book was about. But after I got through the first part, I really enjoyed knowing more about those characters than you usually get in any book. It was really different in that regard. It's a trashy romance, but a higher caliber than most from an author who teaches Shakespeare at a university. The game of chess plays a central role. The main characters are delightful, and the sex scenes are definitely hot. :)
