Primeiro que tudo: porque carga de água a editora traduz o título para algo que não tem nada a haver com o original? Fazia tão mais sentido na história o título "A Duquesa Feia"! Enfim...
Passando à história em si, gostei da premissa que foi feita. Dois grandes amigos concluem que estão apaixonados um pelo outro e casam. What an amazing book! I am never disappointed when I pick up one of Eloisa's books. Theo is one of those characters that you can not help but to relate to. How many times have we looked out ourselves and made comparisons to the Ugly Duckling? Most romance novels have the perfect English rose type girl and I love how she has stepped out of that mold and made someone realistic. James is a man that sees beyond what lies on the surface and appreciates Theo for the beauty that she holds within. Even ...more

I was not to happy with the novel. the beginning of the story show a lot of promises. however, I am not sure what happen next because all fall apart and the end was kind of rush. i was expecting more.
