This book reminds me why I dislike contemporary so much.
The plot was boring. All it was was sex, drugs, and bad behaviour. The characters weren't much better. I remember a grand total of three - Daisy, Billy, and Karen. Daisy was a manic pixie dream girl, a trope that I particularly dislike, Billy was just a terrible person, and Karen was the only one I actually liked.

I think you have to have faith in someone before they earn it. Otherwise it’s not faith, right?
Wow. I'm glad our book club picked this because I can't imagine I ever would have read it on my own. First of all, the audio version is a must. Judy Greer is Karen, from the Halloween franchise to this. I don't think I can watch the TV adaptation of this solely because she will not be Karen and I don't think I could watch anyone else try. I go back and forth on how to rate this, but I'm settling for 3.5 stars and rating up. I can see what this book was doing and I think it did it very well. Reid is a great author and she wrote this incredibly well. However, it just wasn't for me. I can definitely see why people love this book and why it's so popular.
