Oh boy.
This was so good. I read it in like 6/7 hours.
- Firstly, I’ve seen this book everywhere and never thought I’d read it as it’s just not my genre. But then I saw the movie interview with the actors on E News and I was intrigued.
- This was an explosion of emotions and passion.
- I liked how the characters’ recounts sometimes clashed. It made it feel more realistic. E.g. when Daisy and Billy would talk of the same event and say absolutely different things about it.
- The humor was top notch!

1.25⭐️
This book reminds me why I dislike contemporary so much.
The plot was boring. All it was was sex, drugs, and bad behaviour. The characters weren't much better. I remember a grand total of three - Daisy, Billy, and Karen. Daisy was a manic pixie dream girl, a trope that I particularly dislike, Billy was just a terrible person, and Karen was the only one I actually liked.
The 1.25 stars goes towards the audio production cast and crew, because honestly that's the only thing about this book that ...more

I think you have to have faith in someone before they earn it. Otherwise it’s not faith, right?
Wow. I'm glad our book club picked this because I can't imagine I ever would have read it on my own. First of all, the audio version is a must. Judy Greer is Karen, from the Halloween franchise to this. I don't think I can watch the TV adaptation of this solely because she will not be Karen and I don't think I could watch anyone else try.

I go back and forth on how to rate this, but I'm settling for 3.5 stars and rating up. I can see what this book was doing and I think it did it very well. Reid is a great author and she wrote this incredibly well. However, it just wasn't for me. I can definitely see why people love this book and why it's so popular. All the characters are well written and it feels like everything in this story did happen. I mean, I did find them to be really annoying a lot of the times, but that was kind of the
