There was a lot of hype for this book going in and I was not disappointed. I know some people say they saw the twist coming but I certainly did not until close to the end. So many intriguing characters that all seem plausible suspects. I’ve been reading a lot of books with doctor patient dynamics but this is better than most. 5 stars

The definition of a page turner. I was completely drawn into the stories of both Theo and Alicia, the patient. I wanted to know why she refused to speak and I was very satisfied with the explanation. I also loved the twist - although I always thought this character was strange, I never suspected them. I also loved the pacing and snappy chapters. For fans of psychological fiction with big twists! A great start to 2025. Not sure if anything else I'll read this year will top it. ...more

Loved it. كتاب رائع من نوعية الاثارة والغموض المرتبط بجريمة صادمة لرسامة قتلت لزوجها
مكتوب من منظور معالج نفسي لمريضة صامتة لا تتحدث وتوقفت عن النطق منذ اتهامها بقتل زوجها
السرد سريع الاحداث وبشكل متناسق يجعل من الصعب وضع الرواية جانبا قبل الانتهاء منها
ما سبب صمتها كل هذه السنوات؟ ما الاسرار التى تحملها اللوح التى رسمتها بتفاصيل متناهية الدقة؟
الصراعات العاطفية والانسانية للشخصيات مكتوبة بعناية وتثير كثير من الاسئلة
وتثير الفضول هل هي بريئة ام قاتلة بدماء باردة؟ ام هناك قاتل مجهول مازال طليقا؟
