What Members Thought

Like Nicholas Sparks' other books, this is the literary equivalent of a Hallmark Theatre presentation on TV, or maybe just a Lifetime movie. Its virtue is that is short, easy to read, but written with just enough skill so that you won't be annoyed (I think, anyway), and it idles away a few hours when you're feeling lazy.

An understatement it is, to say that I loved the story. I was hugging the book and rereading passages at the wee hours of the morning fantasizing about "what-ifs" and "could-have-beens"...
I never really saw 'that' ending coming... but nevertheless, this book made me cry with all the sweet letters and the conversations that made every hopeless romantic girl wish about her own chance of true love... minus the ending...
