I'm one of the last people to read it, but this was so good! I really loved the dual timeline and how short and quick each chapter was. Even though this book was over 500 pages, it went by so quickly. Marie Laure was my absolute favorite character and I also loved Werner's story. Their journeys through the war were so heartbreaking and I was so anxious on how their stories were going to meet the present timeline. Understandable why Doerr won a Pulitzer for this novel.
Loved the short, short chapters and how he seamlessly moved back and forth with years and with characters (POV).
Will look forward to reading other novels by him.
