So I put on a special shirt for the occasion of writing my review for Tara Sivec’s Futures and Frosting (Chocolate Lovers #2).

I know I’ve talked about my girl crush on Tara before. This book, it made me happy down to my dumbo eared vagina. I had some stalker tendencies before when it came to Tara, but now I want to stalk everyone she knows so I can find out who the characters are based on.

Another winner from Tara! This is also told from Claire and Clarks POV, they are living together with Gavin and settling into family life. Clark had decided to ask Claire to marry him, but she doesn't believe in marriage, her parent's having 5 marriages between them has left her believing it won't work.
Poor Clark sets up the perfect time to ask Claire, over and over again, it just never seems to be the right time to ask her.

Well Tara Sivec, you’ve done it again. After learning the exciting news of Futures & Frosting’s early release late last night, I immediately downloaded it and read all through the night. It’s no secret how much I love Tara Sivec. Seduction and Snacks has to be one of my favorite books ever, as it is without a doubt the FUNNIEST BOOK EVER WRITTEN. Tara has this uncanny ability to not only write a beautiful love story, but have it so laced with truth and humor that you can’t help but completely relate, even if you’re not remotely in the same situation as any of the characters. It’s no secret how much I love Tara Sivec. Seduction and Snacks has to be one of my favorite books ever, as it is without a doubt the FUNNIEST BOOK EVER WRITTEN. Tara has this uncanny ability to not only write a beautiful love story, but have it so laced with truth and humor that you can’t help but completely relate, even if you’re not remotely in the same situation as any of the characters. Plus, gotta give Tara props for surprise releasing this – the only time an early release is acceptable, in my opinion. ;) And I’d be remiss to mention the fact that Madison Says got a nod in her acknowledgements. I’m not going to pretend that didn’t make me almost cry. Or maybe I did cry. A little.

Futures and Frosting picks up not long after Seduction and Snacks ended. Claire and Carter are working out the kinks of living together and co-parenting Gavin, who’s funnier than ever. Liz and Jim are in the final wedding planning stages, and Drew and Jenny are still ridiculously funny and have the quirkiest relationship ever, but you can’t help but love them all.

I love the internal freakouts of both Claire and Carter and I love the fact that they’re both so shitty at communicating with one another. It makes it so real, and makes the story that much funnier. To see what they were both thinking, I wanted to scream at them half the time to get their heads out of their asses. Thankfully, Liz ended up taking care of that for me. ha. But really, the love they have for one another is so awesome, but the fact that you can laugh through it, makes it that much better. You’d be all heart pitter pattering with the romance one sec, and then in the next paragraph something ridiculous would happen and you’d be doubled over laughing. I seriously had so much highlighted on this book, but I don’t want to share, because it’s way better if you read the funny shit firsthand and not from me. But know this, just like with Seduction and Snacks, chances are you’ll almost piss your pants and you WILL snort any and all beverages out your nose.

I give this book 5 STARS and recommend to anyone (probably best for 18 and over due to the crude humor). It’s a must read and one that I will re-read time and time again, when I need to remind myself that I’m not alone in this world. There are others out there with the same sense of humor as me. So sad right now!!!! I'm about 92.4% sure this is the last book in the Chocolate lovers series and I'm terribly sad!! Tara has done wonderful things for my underwear!! I can't even "cunt" the amount of times I cried from laughing so hard!! I got kicked out of my room because my husband was pissed that I was laughing while he was trying to sleep. Big baby!! If I could I would give it 10 stars I would. What can I say about this book?...it's awesome, I loved it, and I want more. But be aware, you must have a sense of humor to read this book. It's not for the stuck up and sensitive people. Lots of humor and romance. I guarantee you will literally laugh out loud thru out the book and if others are around you they will probably think you went insane. I made this book last as LONG as I could. I got stared at while reading this at my son's football practice. You had me at the dedication Tara, and then at the acknowledgements, and then throughout the whole book. I could not stop laughing! If you love good characters and laugh out loud funny in your reading then you must read this book! OMG!! My face hurts from laughing so much. There were many times that I had to take a breather because I was laughing so hard that I was crying. It was AMAZEBALL!! I miss the gang already. Futures and Frosting is a MUST read!
