Solid book. This is definitely a setting book. While I can't possibly know what the New York art scene was like in 1980, this book just feels like it must have been like this. I loved that Prentiss used, color and scent and sound to explain both New York but also everything in this book. While one of the main characters is said to have an anomaly because he sees everything as a color, I thought this was genius, and in a book where art and artists are front and center, it was fantastic.
