I really loved this book - it was fascinating, well written and unpredictable. And, most amazingly of all (for me) there's a whole scene set in Grand Forks! It was well done, and I could tell where he had it set, so it wasn't just a city he plucked out of an atlas, but it was obvious that at the very least he'd seen pictures of the downtown area. I liked this book but didn't quite love it. It's such a unique and interesting concept but it never quite made it there for me. I can see why so many people loved it but I never quite connected to the story enough to say that I loved it. If you enjoy books built around unique concepts and can overlook some flaws, you just might enjoy this one.
