I really enjoyed this novel - what a cool idea! The world building here is outstanding and really makes this book great! I can't think of another novel that I've ever read that covers this territory in this way - Imaginary Friends!

One of those books you just can't put down - the story is compelling and the reading is very simple. I liked the concept, and really enjoyed Dicks' depiction of Max, a child on the Autism spectrum.

I'm a sucker for unique narrators, and Budo fits the bill perfectly. I loved this story and the unique voice that tells it. A great read.

A very imaginative idea, based in a plot that's been done, not executed in a super fine manner. If you're a big reader, definitely pick this up. If you're only going to read 10 books this year, don't bother.
