It's been awhile since I've read a Stephen King novel but after hearing his name over and over on some of my favorite books/reading podcasts during the Halloween season, I thought it was time to revisit him! As he had a new collection of short stories release in November, I thought that might be the perfect place to start. And it was!

Oh boy, haven't read Stephen King in awhile and (as usual) he completely gives me the creeps. Love the take in these stories of placing ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances. His take always makes things hit a little closer to home and see 'monsters' all around us. Have to admit he made me (figuratively) run screaming into the arms of a breezy chic lit book.
