It’s as good as the buzz that surrounded it! Love when that happens!

This one had a bit of a slow start, as it took over 100 pages for the central relationship to really get going. But oh, the ending was wonderful, and the oral history format let a lot of humor and heartbreak shine through.

From the start of this book I loved it - the interview style just worked for me. I enjoyed the story of the band so much - I also loved how two or three people involved in the same event had different interpretations of what happened. My husband and I talk about that all the time.
It surprised me when I found out the identity of the interviewer. I thought that was a great touch.
This is the first book I've read by this author and I will definitely read her other books. ...more
