Not sure if I like this one. It was a read and not the most scintallating.
This book did not read as an adventure, but more as a series of only vaguely related events strung together by occassional hints of the past that propelled the widow into her journey. None of the characters had much soul. I wanted very much to like it, but somehow I just could not buy into the tale. There were pieces of very beautiful writing, but for a tale with some very dramatic events, it just didn't move for me.

Just can't do it. Got about 50 pages in and can just tell that it's not worth the read for me. I'm disappointed to since it's getting so much discussion lately. Just can't find a relationship with 'the widow', and I think I'm probably not in the mood for a mental health book right now.
